Olympic Steel Inc. (Nasdaq: ZEUS), a leading national metals
service center, today announced the promotion of Lauren A. Sulla to
General Manager, Detroit Division, effective immediately.
In this position Sulla will provide strong leadership and oversight to
the facility's operations to drive continued profitable growth for the
division. Sulla will report to David Gea, Regional Vice President.

prepare her well to assume this new position and lead our Detroit team

Operating Officer - Flat Rolled. "Her in-depth knowledge of our Detroit
operations will be a great asset as she moves forward as a leader within
our Company."
Sulla began her career with Olympic Steel in 2008 in the Company's
Detroit office and successfully progressed through various positions of
increasing responsibility. Sulla most recently held the position of
Manager, Purchasing and Materials Management for the Detroit division.
In addition to having more than a decade of experience within the
Company, Sulla earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the
Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo,
Michigan and has a Master in Business Administration degree from Walsh
College in Troy, Michigan.
Sulla is a participant in the Metals Service Center Institute's
Strategic Metals Management program at the Olin Business School at
Washington University in St. Louis. She is also a member of the Detroit
chapter of the Association of Women in the Metal Industries.
